'GENESIS' (Chapter-4)

In this chapter human expansion from Adam and Eve is described. Coin and Abel are the main characters here. It is written in 26 verses numbers. Now lets start the chapter with a moral at the end.

The history of Cain and Abel.

1. Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said : "I have got a man through the blessings of God."
2. Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. And Abel looked after flocks, and Cain worked on the soil.
3. Many days passed away and Coin produced some fruits from the soil and offered them to God.
4. Abel also offered the first-lings from his flock to the Lord, and he looked Abel and his offerings delightfully.
5. But to Cain and his offerings, Lord didn't looked delightfully ; that's why he became extremely angry, and his face became downhearted.
6. And the Lord asked to Coin : "Why are you angry? Why is your face downhearted?
7. If you do well, will you not be accepted? If you don't do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must control yourself."
8. Now Cain said to his brother Abel : "Let's go out to the field." While they were in the field, Cain rose against his brother and killed him.
9. The Lord asked to Cain : Where is your brother Abel? And he answered : "I don't know. Am i my brother's keeper?"
10. Ans God said to him : "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cried to me from the Earth."
11. God continued by saying that : "Now you are under a curse from the earth, which opened its mouth to intake your brother's blood from your hand.
12. When you work on the ground , it will not generate any food or fruits for you. You will be a restless vagabond on the Earth."
13. Cain said to the Lord : "My sin is greater than that, I may deserve forgiveness."
14. And he also said that : "Today you are driving me out from the land, and I will be hidden from you. I will be a vagabond on the Earth, and whoever finds me will kill me to death."
15. Now the Lord said : "No, this won't happen ; instead whoever kills Cain, shall be punished seven-fold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, that whoever find him should not kill him."
16. And Cain walk away from the face of Lord, and lived as a vagabond on the earth, at the east side of Eden.
17. Cain got married, and made love to his wife who became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Then Cain built a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 
18. To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad begot Mehujael, and Mehujael begot Mathusael ; and Mathusael begot Lamech.
19. Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other one Zillah. 
20. Adah became the mother of Jabal ; he was the father of those who live in tents and works as herdsmen.
21. And Jabal's brother name was Jubal ; he was the father of those who play mouth organs and harp(stringed instruments).
22. Zillah also have a son named Tubalcain, who was a hammerer and artificer in every work of brass and iron. And his sister's name was Noema.
23. And Lamech said to his wives ; Ada and Zillah : "hear my voice, I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me."
24. Sevenfold revenge shall be taken for Cain ; then Lamech will suffer seventy times sevenfold.
25. Adam made love to his wife Eve again and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, by saying that : "God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain murdered him."
26. Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. Enosh began to call upon the name of the Lord.

Moral : Learn to control your anger, and stop yourself before doing any sin. Your revenge or sin  may make you feel good instantly, but one day you have to pay for it like Cain.
